Mian Muhammad Bakhash is considered to be the last classical Sufi poet of Punjabi. Much institutional and other research work has been done on him, and many critics and intellectuals have written about his vision and thought. Obviously there would be discussion and differences when a lot of research is being done on such a significant personality. In this article, the author has explained his each and every point of view on Mian Muhammad Bakhash's life, thoughts and texts. He has also evaluated the research work previously done in this regard. Also, he has discussed Mian Muhammad Bakhsh’s popular classical texts of “Saif ul Malook” in detail.
