Abstract

The research article aims at highlighting the fact that Feminism has achieved the status of a literary theory which is quite relevant to such literature having strong participation and readership of women. This literary theory progressed as a vibrant movement. The literature produced under this theory not only talks about women rights rather it propagates the presence and free existance of women. Following the feminist theory, the short stories by Musarat Kalanchvi addressed the social positioning and problems of women from different ranks of 'Wasaib' / Saraiki region. It helps in demystifying the values and traditions pertaining to women in our society. This paper concludes that the short stories point out social principles where one can find indentical practicalities for men and women separatly.
